A third generation musician, 22 year old Bianca Mendonca commenced her musical studies in piano and then later proceeded to study the cello from the age of 8 under Ms.Jini Dinshaw. She began playing for the 'Bombay Chamber Orchestra' for the last ten years and has been selected to play for events with international collaborations. She also plays as a guest member with the "Symphony Orchestra Of India' and has travelled with them to play at the Festival of World Symphony Orchestras in Moscow in June 2010. She was selected to play with the 'Junge Philharmonie Brandenburg' in Germany in 2010. She has also performed with the 'Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka" and the "Cantando Cello Ensemble" in Sri Lanka and Bengaluru. In 2008, Bianca passed the Associate examination of the Trinity College of Music, London with Distinction. From 2009 she has been learning with the help of masterclasses from visiting artists. Bianca has been teaching cello and piano for more than 5 years. She has performed at the "Con Brio"chamber music festival together with international artists in 2010 and 2011. At the age of 16 she performed at the 'Young Talent Series', which is a platform to introduce young artists to a professional stage. Besides classical she enjoys playing pop, jazz and fusion with various reputed artists, in Mumbai and Delhi and have recorded for jingles and Bollywood films like 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'(Shankar Eshaan Loy), 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl' (Salim Sulaiman), 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'(A.R.Rahman). In 2011 she was featured on Television on MTV 'Unplugged' with Mohit Chauhan. She plays for various quartets and trios that play for corporate events.
Bianca has been the recipients of several prizes and awards in music since the age of 5. She sings for the choir "Living Voices". Bianca also plays for the 'India National Youth Orchestra' (INYO)and as a member of the INYO she was one of 4 Indians to have received a full scholarship by the to be a part of the summer program with the 'National Youth Orchestra Of Canada' for two months in Canada and US last year.

lessons when he was 4. By age 7, he was composing original short pieces and
he is also blessed with perfect pitch.
Teachers and musicians are unanimous in recognition of Neville's musical talent. Neville has had the opportunity to play for a visiting delegation from the Royal School of Music, Stockholm, and their director Mr. Anders Oman described Neville as "exceptionally gifted".In Nov 2002 at the age of 9, Neville gave his first public piano recital organised by The Bangalore School of Music at the Alliance Francaise de Bangalore which included 10 of his own compositions. This was followed by recitals in Mumbai and Mysore.
His outstanding performance in the Trinity College 8th Grade Piano exam held in Oct 2006 won him the Capt.Alvares Trophy for Excellence at the age of 14. He passed his ATCL diploma awarded by the Trinity College - Guildhall School of Music in Dec 2008 by securing a distinction. He has won several prizes including the prestigious Peter Coelho Memorial Award for Music in 2002, 2004, 2008.
Neville spent his 2009 summer taking intensive coaching at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He was also privately tutored in London by KrystianBelliere, one of UK's leading young pianists. In June 2009 he was awarded the Fewkes Memorial Trophy for Outstanding Musician.
In Sept 2009 he was the runner up (out of 153 contestants) at the MUSIQUEST All India Piano competition held in Pune.
In December 2010, Neville was invited by the North American Zoroastrian Congress to perform with the World Zoroastrian Symphony Orchestra assisted by members of the Virtuosi of Houston and Houston Symphony Orchestra, Houston Grand Opera with distinguished conductor Farobag Cooper. "This inspirational performance was by an exceptional 18 year old pianist, Neville Bharucha, who traveled from India to attend this congress," stated the Press.
He took FIRST PRIZE at the CON BRIO All India Piano Competition held in Mumbai in July 2011.
Neville is currently continuing his piano studies in Bangalore with Natalia Kapylova - a Russian concert pianis, twhile pursuing final year Bachelor of Commerce at St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore.
His talent is not limited to classical music and he is also part of the live music support for Liela Alvares' much acclaimed Broadway musicals. He has played in Bangalore and toured with them playing in Goa, Chennai and Mangalore.
On 28th Aug 2011 Neville was invited by the International Music & Arts Society to perform at their Founders Day celebrations and on 13th Nov 2011 by the Bangalore School of Music.
He passed the LTCL performers exam held in October 2011.His latest solo recital was at NCPA in Mumbai on 10th Aug 2012 and in Pune on 26th Aug under invitation from the Pune Music Society
